James G. Wolf - President
Jim's experience in corporate career transition services with HRMC began in 1986. He has been instrumental in developing unique programs specifically designed to meet the needs of corporate clients. He also led the development of e-Connect™, a successful remote-based career transition program serving candidates nationwide with personal attention and extensive technology tools. Jim is also nationally known for his career and outplacement counseling work with executives and professional candidates from nearly every industry and discipline. Corporate clients and individual candidates have praised him for his high ethical standards, trustworthiness, and ability to inspire and motivate.
Jim has been a guest on KMOX News Radio, providing insight on job market changes, and has been a regularly featured career expert on KMOV-TV's "Ready to Work" series. For over 12 years, he's conducted such workshops as "Networking Skills," "Job Search Strategy," "Job Interviewing," and "Capitalizing on Job Search Technology." His workshops are customized, fast-paced, and interactive, giving participants real-world tools and techniques they can use immediately.
Jim has served on numerous committees and as a board member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) local chapter, HRMA of Greater St. Louis, holding the title of Past-President. He is also active in a number of human resources and civic organizations, and regularly participates in volunteer activities to assist people in transition. Jim is a graduate of Saint Louis University with a BS in personnel and industrial relations.
Karen Phon - Vice President of Operations
Karen has over 15 years of experience in business operations management. She oversees all aspects of corporate and employee administration and handles human resource responsibilities, which include maintaining personnel records, facilitating coordination of new hires, payroll processing, and benefit management. She analyzes and organizes business finances and accounting procedures, implements company policies, and supervises our support team. Karen reviews contracts and handles requests from corporate customers regarding vendor requirements to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations. She has an MBA from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Jason Colvin –

With 30 years of human resources leadership across organizations ranging from under $1 billion to more than $25 billion in revenue, Jason has built a reputation as a strategic, results-driven executive. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Mastercard, where he led the HR business partnership for the Technology business unit. Throughout his career, Jason has successfully navigated organizations through complex transformations, including post-IPO integration, rapid scaling, market entry, divestitures, and acquisitions.
Jason’s leadership philosophy is rooted in strong values, maximizing people’s potential, and applying practical, results-oriented solutions. His ability to balance strategic planning with strong execution has made him a trusted global leader. During his tenure at Mastercard, he played a key role in the company’s China market entry, leading a multimillion-dollar investment in HR infrastructure and talent acquisition. While at Bank of America, Jason spearheaded major outsourcing and divestiture initiatives, including serving as a governance team member for the bank’s largest network outsourcing contract with Electronic Data Systems—efforts that resulted in significant cost savings. Additionally, he has consistently driven top-tier employee and leadership engagement, with career-spanning “Top 10%” performance in engagement scores.
Jason holds a Master of Science in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Iowa State University. He resides in O’Fallon, Missouri, with his wife, son, and two dogs. An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, he enjoys athletic events, exercising, biking, hiking, golfing, and hunting in his free time.
Sterling Price - Senior Consultant, Human Resources Practice
Sterling has spent the last 30 years broadening his HR and OD experience by assuming roles of increasing responsibility in the healthcare, financial, and aerospace industries. His expertise includes selection processes, strategic planning, behavioral interviewing, candidate coaching, process improvement, organizational change, leadership development, and training. Sterling started his career at McDonnell Douglas Corporation as an Employment Specialist before moving on to hiring college graduates and experienced engineers and IT staff. He has developed and delivered selection programs to more than 150 hiring managers and conducted over 6,000 interviews. Sterling has extensive experience negotiating union contracts, developing and delivering leadership training, and creating corporate-wide human performance initiatives that identify and develop top leadership performers.
Sterling holds a BA in psychology and an MA in industrial/organizational psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He was also an adjunct professor at Webster University where he taught selection in the HR Master’s program.
Kathy Joslin - Senior Consultant, Human Resources Practice
For more than 40 years, Kathy has been a results-focused leader who has delivered innovative talent acquisition, retention, and developmental solutions to help companies harness the full power of one of their most valuable assets - their people. Most recently, Kathy was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Bethesda Health Group, a leading senior living organization based in St. Louis. In addition to developing the HR function she led many initiatives during her tenure, such as creating the Bethesda Institute (a company sponsored developmental program with nearly 20 custom courses), various employee relations programs to improve morale and engagement, and even led their marketing operation for over 18 years. These efforts and others led Bethesda to becoming a Best Places To Work Finalist several times, most recently in 2023.
Kathy's career includes progressive growth and increased responsibility in all aspects of HR Generalist experiences within Anheuser-Busch, where she was ultimately appointed as Corporate Manager, Human Resources - Busch Entertainment Corporation. In addition to her strong knowledge of HRIS systems, employment practices, compensation, and benefits, she is experienced in collaborating with boards of directors and CEO's for mergers, acquisitions, and long-term strategic planning.
Kathy holds a Masters in HR management from Washington University, and a BA in psychology from Rollins College. She is an adjunct professor for Webster University, has served on the board and as President of SHRM Greater St. Louis, and remains a member of both the local and national SHRM organization.
James Brickey – Senior Consultant
Jim possesses global expertise and experience in all aspects of human resources, where he has created and flawlessly executed numerous strategic solutions to complex business issues well beyond the traditional aspects of HR management. As a native of St. Louis, Jim’s post graduate career began as a data analyst for the industrial relations and personnel departments of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. (now an AT&T subsidiary). He then launched a career in compensation management at Anheuser-Busch Cos, where he held leadership roles as Manager and Director, adding new responsibilities such as benefits, staffing, executive compensation planning, and corporate relocation, on a global scale. In 2003, Jim elevated to a Vice President level, serving in multiple senior HR roles for A-B’s beer business and wholesaler subsidiary. In these roles, Jim drove the import agreements between A-B and InBev, providing insight which proved invaluable years later when A-B was purchased by Belgian brewer, InBev, in 2008. At that time, Jim was chosen by InBev to join their new leadership team as Chief Human Resources Officer for North America, a role he held through 2015. In addition to his functional expertise of HR strategies and developing soft skills, Jim’s background is steeped in systematic and analytical thinking, having graduated in 1983 from the University of Missouri with a degree in computer science. The unique combination of Jim’s passionate, hands-on management approach and his aptitude for analytics has molded him into a visionary leader of leaders.
Lauren Milligan – Senior Consultant

Kelly’s background includes both customer service and administrative support within fast-paced, professional environments. Her current role is in previewing candidate resumes. She ensures the document formatting is compatible with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and provides feedback on resume content and structure. She has a BA in English from Saint Louis University and a CPRW certification from the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches.
Eileen Cain - Accounting Specialist
Eileen has over 20 years of billing/accounts experience at professional service and distribution companies. She is responsible for tracking and processing payables and receivables and updating and researching marketing and operations data. Her skills in Sage, Excel, and Word make her a valuable part of the support team.
